“You make a living by what you get and a life by what you give.” Sir Winston Churchill
We must believe in the power of generosity and have faith that you will give whatever you can to help continue our work throughout the Yankton area. The new BOD and staff at the Yankton Contact Center has a vision for a much larger building to help those in need, collaborate with other non-profits, meet and educate people on how to make decisions and turn a crisis now into opportunities later. We want to serve more so that no one in Yankton is hungry – ever! Many of us have been blessed beyond measure and can help those who have not had our talents or other life circumstances. Please consider a donation…..

Give Online:
Online giving allows for a specific dollar amount to be deducted from a checking or savings account. You can set up online giving either as a one-time donation or a recurring gift. Online giving is not only easy, but it’s also safe and secure. You can access online giving from anywhere you have the internet. Just click on the Donate Now button and follow the instructions.
Give Stock Strategically and/or as part of Estate Planning:
Make a bigger impact by donating long-term appreciated securities, including stock, bonds, and mutual funds, directly to the Contact Center – a qualified charitable organization. Compared with donating cash, or selling your appreciated securities and contributing the after-tax proceeds, you may be able to automatically increase your gift and your tax deduction. Also consider a qualified charitable distribution (QCD) from your Traditional or Roth IRA made to the Contact Center- a qualified charitable organization*. Speak with your financial advisor to complete a charitable donation or about the best asset to contribute.
Call Rebecca Meier, Executive Director, at 605-260-4400 ext 2 the Yankton Contact Center or Christopher M. Marlow, Contact Center Financial Advisor with Edward Jones at 1818 Broadway Ave, Suite 3 in Yankton at 605-665-1400.
*Available when the IRA owner is age 70½ or older. A QCD may satisfy the client’s required minimum distribution (RMD) and up to $100,000 of QCDs may be excluded annually from an individual’s taxable income.
